“Ascot Manor,” a remarkable custom residence within one of the Peninsula’s most exclusive gated communities. The architectural design was led by Jun A. Sillano of International Design Group, whose work throughout Pebble Beach, Carmel, and the Monterey Peninsula has been recognized for blending timeless European influences with sophisticated California coastal architecture. Jun’s extensive experience in estate homes, resort design, urban planning, and luxury residential architecture brought extraordinary depth and authenticity to this project. “Ascot Manor” was conceived as a true old-world estate — a residence that felt as though it had been established for generations. The approximately 7,500-square-foot home featured six bedrooms, six-and-one-half bathrooms, a formal billiard room, paneled library, antique gothic leaded-glass windows, and imported French limestone floors laid in a traditional Versailles pattern. The interiors were enriched with handcrafted faux finishes, French limestone tremeau fireplace mantles, and artisan detailing throughout, creating warmth, character, and architectural permanence rarely achieved in modern construction. A grand stone masonry entry sequence and extensive custom stonework further reinforced the estate’s timeless presence and craftsmanship.
